From today until 8th September the National Synod of Scotland is well represented at the General Assembly of the World Council of Churches in Karlsruhe, Germany. Sarah Moore (Synod Transition Champion) is one of the United Reformed Church's delegates to the Assembly, and David J. M. Coleman (Chaplain to EcoCongregation Scotland) is attending as an observer following his participation at COP26.

We both travelled to Karlsruhe from Scotland by train and now look forward to an interesting week ahead. Please pray for us, for the delegations from the United Reformed Church and Scotland in particular, and for the meeting and work of the Assembly as a whole.
