Rev William Young, former minister of Morison Memorial URC & Essenside URC, is moving from Scotland to Washington to take up his new post as Senior Pastor of the Covenant Baptist United Church of Christ in Washington DC. After a year of leading worship online across the Atlantic recent changes in travel restrictions due to the pandemic have allowed him to finally travel. William was able to attend the regular online gathering of our Synod clergy last week which allowed those of us present to be able to extend our best wishes to him in his new adventures of faith. We look forward to keeping in touch and forming a new World Church link.
